Sophie and Nodi Expressed Deep Regret over the Death of Georgian Soldiers in Afghanistan

Sophie Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili , Georgian contenders of the 2013 ESC expressed deep regret over the death of three Georgian servicemen in Afghanistan. They will dedicate eurovision entry “Waterfall” to the memory of these Georgian soldiers.

May 16 has been declared as mourning day across Georgia, because of the tragedy that occurred in Helmand Province in Afghanistan on May 13 resulting in the death of 3 Georgian soldiers.

Sophie Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili, Georgian contenders of the 2013 ESC will go on stage with the song “Waterfall” in the second semi-final to be held on May 16. They will sing under number 15.

First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will air the event live.
