Sophie and Nodi to Sing in the Final of 2013 ESC to be Held on May 18

Sophie Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili Georgian contenders of 2013 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) will sing in the Final of 2013 ESC to be Held on May 18. The Georgian Duet took part in the second semi-final of ESC and moved into the final.

The second Semi-Final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest was held at the Malmö Arena, Sweden on 16th of May. 17 countries took part in the second Semi-final in order to qualify for 10 places available in Saturday's final.

The ten qualifiers from the second Semi-Final were announced:

Hungary - ByeAlex, with the entry song Kedvesem (Zoohacker Remix)
Azerbaijan - Farid Mammadov, with the entry song Hold Me
Georgia - Nodi Tatishvili & Sophie Gelovani, with the entry song Waterfall
Romania - Cezar, with the entry song It's My Life
Norway - Margaret Berger, with the entry song I Feed You My Love
Iceland - Eythor Ingi, with the entry song Ég Á Líf
Armenia - Dorians, with the entry song Lonely Planet
Finland - Krista Siegfrids, with the entry song Marry Me
Malta - Gianluca, with the entry song Tomorrow
Greece - Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis, with the entry song Alcohol Is Free

The entry song for Georgia "Waterfall" is written by the 2012 Eurovision winning composer, Thomas G:son. Stage performance for Georgian contenders is directed by Lasha Oniani. Nodi Tatishvili and Sophie Gelovani’s stage dress is designed by Avtandil Tskvitinidze.

The Grand Final of 58th Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 18th of May, 2013 in the Swedish city of Malmö. The Swedish comedian Petra Mede will host 2013 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will air the event live. Liza Tsiklauri will announce the results of Georgian voting of Eurovision Song Contest 2013.
