Lizi Ramishvili will represent Georgia at the Eurovision Classical Music Competition 2012 in Vienna,Austria.
6 talented performers took part in the Georgian National final. The concert wrapped up the Georgian National Competition for Eurovision Young Musicians 2012 in Tbilisi Music Center on March 11 and revealed the Georgian contender.

Lizi Ramishvili was born in Tbilisi on May 6, 1997. She has played the cello since 7. She studies at Zakaria Paliashvili N1 Central Music School and takes professional lessons from the professor Tamara Gabarashvili. She studies at Public school N35. Lizi is a participant of many concerts. She gave 3 solo concerts;
In 2006 - she took a diploma of festival „Ascension“;

In 2007 – participant of the 4th republican competition of musicians. In 2008/ 2009 - Symphony orchestra named after Evgeni Mikeladze, Conductor – Revaz Takidze. Johann Sebastian Bach, Saint-Saëns, Haydn Concerts;

In 2010 – owner of Grand Prix of international contest in Gyumri , Armenia. In 2010 - International TV contest „Nutcracker “ (Щелкунчик) – Owner of the 1st premium and „Gold Nutcracker“ (Russia). She became a laureate of „НОВАЯ РОССИЯ“ orchestra;

In 2010 - Haydn Concert; Tchaikovsky Large Symphony Orchestra; Conductor Saulius Sondetskis (Russia);
In 2011 - Moscow Meets Friends - International Festival named after Vladimir Spivakov - She became the Laureate (Russia);

In 2011 - Paganini Variations, “Rossini Theme on a string”. Armenian State Orchestra, International Festival of Young Musicians (Armenia); In 2011 - Yuri Bashmet Symphony Orchestra „НОВАЯ РОССИЯ“, conductor Freddie Kadena (Spain);

In 2011 – International Festival „MUSICA MUNDI“- She became the Laureate (Belgium); In 2011- Haydn Concert. „НОВАЯ РОССИЯ“- Orchestra , Gabala International Festival, Azerbaijan.

The Eurovision Young Musicians (EYM) competition has run biennially since 1982. It is an international classical music event aiming to offer the widest possible stage to young talented classical musicians, to help them embark on an international career.

The 2012 Eurovision Young Musicians will be held in Vienna, Austria on the 5th, 6th (Semi Final) and 11th (Final) of May. The Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF) is the Host Broadcaster of the contest.

Solo candidates, aged under 20 in the year of the competition, will compete in a preliminary Semi-Final round, out of which the 7 best will be selected by an international jury to perform live as finalists in the show at the Rathausplatz (Vienna City Hall Square).

The seven finalists will be accompanied by the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of young German conductor Cornelius Meister.

The 16th EYM Final will be transmitted live on television across Europe and the world via the Eurovision Network.
